Hugh founded the firm in December 1992 and is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to forming Performa, Hugh was Vice President and Director of Offshore Marketing for The Matuschka Group, a large global asset management company with offices in Munich, Zurich and London. He began his career at IBM in 1983 where he was responsible for marketing the firm’s products to multinational insurance companies. Hugh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hobart College.
Sandi is Performa’s Head of Client Service with primary responsibility for the firm’s global client relationships. Prior to joining Performa, Sandi was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Dwight Asset Management Company where she was responsible for over $7 billion in institutional client assets. Sandi’s portfolio management responsibilities included working with clients to understand their investment objectives, performing liability analysis and effectively implementing and communicating duration, liquidity and asset allocation decisions. Prior to joining Dwight, Sandi was a Corporate Accounting Manager at Fidelity Investments and Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse LLC. Sandi graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
John is Performa’s Head of US Business Development responsible for leading the firm’s new business development and marketing effort by cultivating relationships with captive insurance companies and their service providers. He received B.A. degrees in both Spanish and International Affairs from Lafayette College as well as a M.S. in Investment Management from Boston University’s School of Management. John came to Performa from Fletcher Allen Health Care’s treasury department. He has extensive investment management experience as a fixed income product manager including 10 years with Standish Mellon Asset Management in Boston followed by similar roles at Dwight Asset Management and Sentinel Investments.
Warren is a US Client Relationship Manager. His primary responsibilities include working directly with US clients as well as providing support to senior members of the global client service, marketing and business development teams. Warren maintains and develops relationships with clients and their service providers, manages the company CRM system and assists in the development of new business opportunities. Warren received a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship and economics from the University of Vermont in 2012. Prior to joining Performa, Warren held various positions with BuysideFX, a foreign exchange trading software provider based in Burlington, VT.
Megan is a Client Service Associate with primary responsibility for providing client service and operational support to the investment, relationship and business development managers on behalf of Performa’s global clients. Megan obtained her Associates Degree in General Insurance and with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. Megan holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation, was awarded the Claritas® Investment Certificate (2014) and successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®). Prior to joining Performa, Megan held various investment positions with Bermuda Investment Advisory Services Ltd and Colonial Pension Services Ltd.
